Vivid Ideas Game Changers: Jane McGonigal & Kriti Sharma

Examine the consequences of AI when American game designer, Jane McGonigal, meets AI technologist, Kriti Sharma, live on stage at Sydney Recital Hall for a thought provoking discussion (3 June).

Vivid Ideas Game Changers: Dare Jennings

Join Dare Jennings, founder of Mambo clothing and Deus Ex Machina, in a conversation on politics, music, surfing, tips for success and more. Jennings will be joined on stage by good friend James Valentine at the Sydney Recital Hall (27 May).

Vivid Music: St. Vincent

The Grammy Award-winning Annie Clark, aka St. Vincent, will bring her incredible energy to Carriageworks for one night only on 17 June. The multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter will bring songs from her fifth studio album, Masseduction, in what is set to be an absolute must-see performance.

Vivid Music: Kurt Elling

The Chicago-born jazz performer is hailed as one of the most exciting and popular male vocalists of our time. Kurt Elling will breathe new life into old favourites at Sydney’s City Recital Hall on 8 June, joined on stage by Australia’s queen of jazz, Emma Pask.

Orange is the New Black’s Big Boo – Lea Delaria Live in Concert

Lea DeLaria is “Big Boo” in Orange is the New Black – but her talents extend far beyond acting and comedy. The much-loved and outspoken DeLaria has released five jazz-inspired albums, and will perform hits from her latest album House Of David: delaria+bowie=jazz in her only Sydney show at City Recital Hall on 9 June.
