Youtube sensation, Broadway Babe, RuPaul favourite and Taylor Swift squad member, Todrick Hall is headed to Australia with his show ‘Todrick Hall American: The Forbidden Tour’.
Todrick Hall is a man of many talents and has showcased all of them across his career with credits as a singer, songwriter, dancer, actor, choreographer, costume designer, playwright and director to his name. He first entered the spotlight as a contestant on American Idol in 2010 becoming a semi-finalist in season 9. Writing his own number for the audition in his home state of Texas, asking the judges to take him to Hollywood, he wowed the panel.
He then became a viral YouTube sensation showcasing his ability to produce creative and innovative content by writing and choreographing epic performances and flash mobs. This lead not only to his own MTV show titled simply ‘TODRICK’ but the chance to be a one of the choreographers for Queen Bey herself. If you’re anything like us you’ve contributed to at least 100 of the 24 million views on the music video for Beyoncé’s ‘Blow’ but give it a couple more and marvel at some of Hall’s ace choreography.
Hall then landed a starring role in Broadway’s Kinky Boots performing a whopping 129 shows as the inspirational Lola. He followed this up with a starring role as Billy Flynn on Broadway in the Kander and Ebb classic ‘Chicago’ contributing to one of the shows highest earning weeks in it’s over two decades on Broadway!
These days Hall is continuing to create original content on his YouTube channel so you’ll definitely want to subscribe.
