The 2019 Sydney Royal Easter Show is hosting feature days. See them all below.

Australian Defence Force Day –  Saturday 13 April

On Saturday 13 April, all currently serving members of the Australian Defence Force will receive free entry to the Show, upon presentation of their ID cards. This is also a perfect day to drop off some poppies to the Poppy Project – an installation in honour of our fallen. Showgoers are encouraged to knit or crochet a poppy, or two, in red to honour soldiers, white for the nurses, or purple for the service animals who have died in war. The Poppy Project will be on display in the Arts & Crafts Pavilion throughout the Show and will grow with each new poppy.

Thank a Farmer Day – Monday 15 April

Farmers are the mainstay of the Show, and they deserve our thanks each and every day of the year but Monday 15 April has been earmarked specially for all Showgoers to express their appreciation. One dollar from every ticket scanned at the entry gates on this day will go back to regional communities, and Showgoers will be taken behind-the-scenes on tours conducted by the RAS Youth Group. Take a peek at the lives of our pig, cattle, and sheep farmers and discover more about the incredible District Exhibits.

Butcher’s Challenge and Seniors Day – Wednesday 17 April

Seniors have the opportunity to relax in the Senior’s Hub on Wednesday 17 April and gather information that is relevant to their lifestyle, plus they can enjoy a free cuppa and the chance to win great prizes from Seniors Day sponsor BaptistCare.

Young butchers and apprentices from across New South Wales will compete on Wednesday 17 April for a spot in the team representing Australia in the World Butcher’s Challenge in Sacramento in 2020. Knife and cutting skills, creativity, safety, and meat utilisation will be judged along with speed, efficiency, and presentation.

World Heritage Day – Thursday 18 April

The Heritage Pavilion at the Show this year is presenting the 1870s, but the Amphitheatre Lawns will turn into a complete Heritage Trail on Thursday 18 April, celebrating World Heritage Day. This is a brilliant opportunity to see whip makers, antique push bikes, saddle makers, coachbuilders, and more trades from yesteryear.

Kids Day – Tuesday 23 April

The final day of the Show is always Kids Day – children can come to the Show half-price and enjoy two-for-one rides until 5pm. There’s great deals to be found and amazing attractions – the perfect way to wrap up the school holidays.
