Have a look at all of this weekend's sport, with action in the AFL, rugby union and even soccer.
For all the Francophile’s and Moulin Rouge aficionado’s, Cabaret De Paris, coming to the State Theatre in Sydney, will make you feel like you’re sipping champagne under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower.
Cabaret De Paris is bringing the height of Parisian glitz and glamour to our shores with the crème de la crème of showgirls from around the world. These incredible artists have graced the stages of many of France’s most famous cabaret revues. The jewel in the crown will be the legendary showgirl and former Moulin Rouge star Marissa Burgess, the longest-serving Moulin Rouge star in the iconic venue’s 120-year history.
Not only are the dancers the crème de la crème but the costumes are also C’est Magnifique with over a quarter of a million dollars’ worth of bejewelled, feathered and sequined outfits.
Along with the classic showgirls, Cabaret De Paris will also include a full array of international acts. The incredible comic acrobatic cyclist Justin Case joins Cabaret De Paris on the back of an appearance with the Flic Flac Circus in Germany where he won the Silver in the ‘People’s Choice Award’ in the ‘Best Circus Artist in the World’ category. Mysteriaque, a skilled adagio acrobatic act who were soloists at the Moulin Rouge in Paris and the Principal Adage Team at the “Lido De Paris”, France will also be joining the show. As well as Michael Boyd, the incredible Illusionist of Australia’s got talent fame.
