MICF 2017: See the live media launch in photos

Melbourne International Comedy Festival launched its 2017 event in the city today, as comedians, agents, tastemakers and media gathered inside Melbourne’s recently renovated Forum.

The stunning venue played host to the first press conference for this year’s MICF ahead of the festival’s official kick off tomorrow (Wednesday 29 March).

Hosted by lol-legends Denise Scott and Judith Lucy, the event welcomed some special guest performers as well as Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Robert Doyle, Martin Foley, Victoria’s Minister for Creative Industries, Chairman of the Comedy Festival Board, Bill Shannon and Festival Director/CEO, Susan Provan.
