Duo Flash

Clowns and comedy have been an integral part of the circus since its beginning and today, it’s the job of Duo Flash – Yevgeniy Dashkivskyy and Yefrem Bitkine – to bring those original characters to life at Circus 1903. Split second timing and synchronised acrobatics ensure they’re one of the show’s standout acts.

The Flying Finns

Giovanni Maldonado, Aj Saltalamacchia and Petter Linsky are masters of acrobatics including the teeter board – something that’s long been a shining art of the circus. Truly a prodigy of nature, the magnificent Senayet Assefa Amara has the ability to contort her body into remarkable poses and phenomenal positions – doing so without possession of double joints! Before Circus 1903, Senayet has starred in countless shows across Europe including Cirque Phoenix, Zirkus Des Horrors, Eloha Cirque and Circus Dziva.

The puppeteers

Part of what makes this show completely unique are the puppet elephants; the result of a year-long creation process. The three puppeteers controlling Queenie (the adult elephant), the puppeteer inside Karanga (the baby elephant), and the two handlers all work together to create animal characters who think, feel and react.
