Everyone’s favourite Easter treat, the Sydney Royal Easter Show will arrive from Friday 3 until  Tuesday 14 April, bringing a stack of fun and adventure with it.

As always, there is so much to see and do. Check it out.

Animals at the Sydney Royal Easter Show

The Sydney Royal Easter Show is the place for all things cute and cuddly. Whether it’s piglets or pooches, animal lovers both young and old will enjoy the many experiences on offer. Come down to the Goat Breed Huts, hosted by the Dairy Goat Society of NSW and Mohair Australia, where an extensive array of goat-related products are available including soap, hand cream, and even milkshakes.

Kids and parents are encouraged to stop by the Poultry Pavilion where the softest and cutest feathered friends are chirping to meet you. If the daily Pat-a-Chick sessions aren’t enough, you’re also invited to participate in the Chook Washing sessions or observe a baby chicken emerge from its egg at the Chicken Hatching sessions.

The Best in Show competition, one of our country’s most prestigious canine competitions, will be hosted on Monday 13 April, starting at 9am, with the winner announced at 3pm. Held on the ADVANCE Dog Judging Lawn.

Consistently one of the most popular stops at the Show each year, Alpaca Promenade is the place to go if you’re keen to take a selfie with a woolly friend or take one for a walk, open each day from 9am to 6pm. Taking place from Friday 3 until Wednesday 8 April at Little Hands on the Land and in The Paddock, and from Thursday 9 until Tuesday 14 April at the Munro Pavilion.

There are also cats, dogs, turtles and an Aviary Competition with over 400 birds of all varieties.

The Animal Walk will also take place each day of the Show, bringing you a chance to meet some of the 14,000 stars of the Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Activities

With so much to see and do, the hardest part is choosing what to do next.

The Parade of Champions will see all of the Show’s Champions make their way around GIANTS Stadium, hosting a chance for their stories to be told and spectators to recognise their contribution. The Parade will take place at 5.20pm on Saturday 4 April, and 4.30pm Monday 6 and Saturday 11 April.

Jump into the driver’s seat and enjoy a hot lap around some of Australia’s greatest racetracks with the Motor Racing Simulator at Coca-Cola Carnival or take a ride 45-metres above ground with The Beast – one of the Show’s standout attractions. If thrill-seeking is your thing, the Rebel Coaster will have you defying gravity with more than 350 metres of exhilarating track and a giant loop.

Or, take on the pro’s at the Fun Floral Challenge and give flower arranging a go! Hosted from Friday 3 to Monday 13 April, each day at 4pm at the Flower & Garden Pavilion Stage.

There’s also an array of spectacular food and beverages on offer including the over-the-top and irresistibly sweet creations by Waffleland on Olympic Boulevard.
