Our very own Australian cricket team will be back in action this summer.
See the new look side in Perth this November and December, with an ODI and test series lined up.

Australia will first face South Africa in a 50 over One Day International at Perth Stadium on Sunday 4 November, starting at 11:20am at Perth Stadium. New ODI captain Tim Paine will lead the side out, with Australian legend and local West Australian Justin Langer taking over the coaching reigns of the Australian side.

Tim Paine will also captain Australia’s Test side, as they take on India in this summer’s Test series. Australia will take on the number 1 ranked Test side with the five days running from Friday 14 December through to Tuesday 18 December. The clash will also take place at Perth Stadium.

Tim Paine will now captain Australia’s Test and ODI sides

Australia still sit in 3rd position in the ICC Test rankings, despite a complete overhaul to the side in the past year. The side’s next challenge comes this month as they take on Pakistan in two tests, followed by three T20 matches. That will round out Australia’s matches on foreign soil before returning home for the summer of cricket.

The ODI against South Africa will be the first of a three-match series against South Africa. The test against India will make up the second match of a four-test series.

The Australian side will be looking to rebuild both their reputation and respect amongst the cricketing world this summer.
