Mazda Beach

Perched just over the rope at the Hawkesbury St end of Sydney Showground Stadium, the Mazda Beach is the perfect place to watch the Thunder this season. Pull up a deck chair, take off your shoes and lounge on the sand on the custom-built beach. The BBL is synonymous with summer, and what better way to soak up that sun than sitting on the beach, with world-class cricket right in front of your eyes.
Tickets on the beach are just $50.94* for adults and $25.46 for children.

Homestar Finance Sky Deck

We’ve got it on good authority that the Homestar Finance Sky Deck is the place to watch the Big Bash. Part of Sydney Thunder’s corporate hospitality offering, the Homestar Finance Sky Deck provides a perfectly relaxed environment whether you’re entertaining clients, staff, family, or friends. Positioned on level 4 of the Royal Stand, you’ll sit behind the bowler’s arm, enjoying exclusive access to a premium seat, private cash bar, and premium food to purchase.
Adult tickets from $80*.

How are Sydney Thunder looking heading into BBL 09?

We’ve already heard that some big changes are coming for the 2019/20 Big Bash season. It’ll be shorter than last summer – reducing from 54 days to 42, though still featuring 56 scorching home and away games. There is also set to be a huge shake-up come finals time, with a final-five playing off across two weeks for the first time in Big Bash League history.

After finishing 6th at the end of the 2018-2019 season, the Thunder will be looking to turn their form around heading into this BBL season. The latest news would have fans very excited, with the Thunder’s lineup bolstered by the new addition of  English batsman Alex Hales.

Sydney Thunder will play their first game at Sydney Showground Stadium on Thursday 2 January, facing off against BBL 08 runners-up Melbourne Stars.

No matter how you enjoy the excitement of a Sydney Thunder home game, make sure you get down to Sydney Showground Stadium this summer. Tickets on sale via ticketmaster.com.au.
