Manly Sea Eagles have started the 2019 NRL season in strong form, currently sitting sixth on the ladder. But, just how deep can they go this year?

They’ve started the season strongly, with four wins from seven games, already knocking off several highly touted sides including the Raiders and Rabbitohs.

Unfortunately, they appear to have lost captain Daly Cherry-Evans for several weeks to injury, but it didn’t seem to affect the side as he went down last round and galvanised to edge out a strong Raiders side.

Manly will be buoyed by the return of five-eighth Lachlan Croker. Croker played his first game of the season off the back of three knee reconstructions and starred with two tries in a huge boost for the club.

The Sea Eagles face cellar dwellers Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs this weekend, again at Lottoland for the second week in a row. Their following home clash will come on  Friday 24 May, taking on the Gold Coast Titans.
