New: Ticket transaction fees waived for AFL Games at Marvel Stadium

We are working with Marvel Stadium to continue to make your experience better

Alongside our long-standing partner, the AFL, we are together announcing that there will be no transactions fees on any tickets for AFL, A-League and Big Bash Matches at Marvel Stadium.

Making a day or night out at the footy more affordable than ever.

The change will come into effect immediately for AFL matches, with tickets going on sale to AFL and club members for the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership season on Monday 24 February.

There will be 43 home and away AFL matches scheduled at the venue across the 2020 season, with St Kilda (14), Western Bulldogs (12), and Carlton (10) locked in for the most games at the AFL-owned stadium.

In 2019, more than 1.3 million fans headed to a footy game at Marvel Stadium.

AFL Chief Executive Gillon McLachlan says the new partnership is a win for fans as the AFL continues its commitment to access and affordability.

Marvel Stadium hosts nearly a quarter of the AFL season’s matches, our new pricing strategy with Ticketmaster removes a barrier and provides an immediate saving for fans,” he says.

Coinciding with the  ticketing announcement, the AFL has also announced a three-year price freeze of General Admission tickets to matches at Marvel Stadium.

General Admission Prices for season 2020, 2021, and 2022 will be the same price as 2019.

  • Adult $27
  • Concession $18
  • Kids $5
  • Family $54 (two adults, two kids)

Any ticket purchased for Marvel Stadium matches will not have a transaction fee attached.

AFL and club members can get tickets for the 2020 Toyota AFL Premiership season from Monday February 24.
