Manchester United will hit our shores in just a few months, bringing the talents of a world-class squad to Optus Stadium for two huge matches.

The Red Devils are in some serious form since replacing Jose Mourinho as Manager, with club legend Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer taking over. They’ve now won their last seven in a row, including a FA Cup tie, and are quickly closing the gap on the top 5 as they hunt Champions League qualification.

United are now equal on points with Arsenal in fifth, and sit just one game off Chelsea in fourth. Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford have led the resurgence for United, with both nabbing five goals from their seven-win run, after just three each in the 17 Premier League games prior.

Marcus Rashford’s recent form has been insane.

The news gets even better for fans heading to watch Manchester United in Perth, with their two opponents, Leeds United and Perth Glory currently on top of their respective tables. Northern English rivals Leeds are looking to get back into the Premier League after a 15-year hiatus, currently one point clear at the top of the Championship. Promotion would be enormous for the former powerhouse of English football, and would mean two Premier League teams on display when the clubs arrive in July.

Perth Glory are also having a phenomenal season, currently top of the Hyundai A-League, with just one loss for the season and no signs of slowing down. The addition of Championship winning Manager Tony Popovic has done wonders for the Glory this season, as well as several critical signings having a big impact, such as Socceroos Chris Ikonomidis, Ivan Franjic, and Jason Davidson.

It all sets up what is sure to be two mouth-watering clashes in July, with Manchester United v Perth Glory on Saturday 13 July and Manchester United v Leeds United on Wednesday 17 July at Optus Stadium. Tickets are also available in a two-game pack.
