The Longines Golden Slipper Day, the pinnacle event of the 2019 Longines Golden Slipper Carnival, is less than two weeks away.

Held at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse, Sydney on Saturday 23 March, this is the ultimate event on the Sydney racing calendar.

With five Group 1 races throughout the day, it all builds towards the Longines Golden Slipper, the $3.5 million race and the world’s richest for two-year-olds.

What’s on trackside?

Aside from the racing, there is plenty more to see and do trackside.

Australian legend Jimmy Barnes will be rocking out after the last race in a live concert, free for all ticket holders.

There is a state-of-the-art foodie precinct as well, with amazing eats to keep you going all day. There will also be a Chandon S pop up bar, and even a Moët & Chandon vending machine. Or, how about the James Squire pop up bar, Canadian Club cocktail cart, a Jim Beam cocktail cart, the Pimm’s Horse Float with Pimm’s on tap and even a specialty Winx cocktail.

Speaking of Winx, this is likely to be her final race at Rosehill Gardens, a spectacle you really cannot miss.

You will even be able to strike a pose and grab a photo with the Longines Golden Slipper Trophy on the day.

Gates open at 11.15am, with the first race getting underway at 12.30pm, and the final race at 5.45pm, followed by a performance from Jimmy Barnes.

All pre-purchased tickets include travel to and from Rosehill on Sydney trains, light rail, ferry, and buses.
