This weekend, Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium plays host to the 2017 QBE Insurance Australian FIM Speedway Grand Prix, and despite what you’re probably thinking, you don’t have to be a total racing junkie to enjoy this fast-paced event.

You will, however, want to be there to witness the roar of the stadium crowd as the largest indoor motor racing spectacle in the Southern Hemisphere returns to Melbourne.

Etihad Stadium is already being transformed for Saturday’s adrenaline-fuelled action, as 5000 tonnes of dirt are used to create a Grand Prix circuit fit for the finest Motorcycle Speedway racers.
