Finally, the people of Adelaide have the opportunity to see some of the latest, most advanced and innovative military aircrafts and technology that the Australian Defence Force (ADF) has to offer.

The Edinburgh Air Show will be held at the RAAF Base Edinburgh in Adelaide this November, running across two days on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 November.

Visitors will be afforded the chance to witness the base and a wide display of fast jet, transport and rotary wing aircrafts.

The Air Force Head of Air Shows, Air Commodore Christopher Sawade, says of the display, “Our newest maritime patrol aircraft, the Edinburgh-based P-8A Poseidon, will have pride of place alongside our fast jets – including the F/A-18 Hornet – and heavy lift aircraft like the C-17A Globemaster.

“The F-35A Joint Strike Fighter will also be on display for the first time in Adelaide.”

You can get further information about what aircrafts are on display, as well as the flying program here.

Senior ADF Officer, Air Commodore Phil Gordon also spoke of the Air Show, saying, “This will be the first ADF Air Show at RAAF Base Edinburgh in 12 years.”

Tickets to the show are just $30 for General Admission on each day, or an exclusive hospitality lunch and beverage package for $200.
