It is ANZAC Day Round in the AFL this weekend, culminating in the traditional Collingwood v Essendon match-up on ANZAC Day next Wednesday (25 April).

The first Q Clash of the home and away season will take place this Sunday (22 April) as The Gabba hosts the two sides.

The Lions will be looking for their first win of the year after reasonably strong showings in the first three rounds before a disappointing display against the 2017 Premiers Richmond, last weekend.

Meanwhile, Gold Coast will be looking to recapture their early season form after starting the season on fire with two wins in the first two rounds, before faltering to Fremantle and West Coast in their last two matches, having spent their past two weeks in Western Australia.

In the Brisbane Lions’ second game at The Gabba for the season, it will also present the launch of ‘The Verandah’, which will be available for all home games at the ground this season.

The Verandah boasts front row seats to see the Lions this year, accompanied by a fully stocked Heineken bar and comfy lounge seating, giving fans a new and exciting way to take in all the footy action.

The Verandah was opened to an invite-only guest list for the Lions’ first home game against Melbourne, with cricket star and Brisbane number 1 ticket holder Chris Lynn loving the experience.
He stated, “It covers everything from the social side of the event to the entertainment side and for the die-hard fans you can’t get a better seat in the house as the goalposts are right in front!”

Adding, “I love going to live sports and rarely do I get to watch sport at the Gabba from the stands, so to sit back and enjoy the atmosphere in a familiar environment is always great fun.”

Tickets to this premium seating and footy experience are now available to the general public for 2018, beginning this Sunday against the Gold Coast Suns. Available for only $60, this is definitely the best spot in the house to watch the footy!
