The Big Bash is back.

The BBL is now firmly ingrained as a staple on our sporting calendars, and with such a fun atmosphere at every game, it’s the perfect excuse to binge even more cricket this festive season.

Returning for its ninth instalment, the BBL begins this week, running from Tuesday 17 December until Monday 27 January, with the finals wrapping things up from Thursday 30 January until Saturday 8 February. There will be at least one game every day throughout the season (except Christmas Day), so there is plenty of T/20 cricket action for fans to sink their teeth into.

With fireworks, music and plenty of fun and games for the kids at every match, it is the perfect family entertainment for old and young alike.

Huge hits, skittling wickets, classic catches and masterclasses from world-class talent will be on display all summer.

After taking out their first title in 2018/19, the reigning Champions Melbourne Renegades again go in with a strong squad hoping to make it two on the trot.

With the addition of Shaun Marsh to their batting lineup, partnering captain Aaron Finch, there is plenty of experience at the top-level in all formats within the Renegades top order.

While the Hobart Hurricanes took out the minor title in BBL|08, they are heading into 2019/20 still searching for their first Championship.

The ever-present Perth Scorchers have the most titles in the league, and as always pose a strong threat.

The perfect activity to keep you out in the sunshine, grab your tickets to see the Melbourne Renegades, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Thunder and Hobart Hurricanes in the BBL at Ticketmaster.com.au.
