The Avalon Airshow jets off this weekend
The Australian International Airshow returns to Avalon Airport from this Friday 1 March until Sunday 3 March.
The biennial Australian International Airshow is back for 2019, starting this Friday.
Held at Avalon Airport, the Airshow is one of the most prestigious aerospace and aviation exhibitions in the Southern Hemisphere. It is Australia’s most famous aviation event, showcasing the best in military aviation, the latest aircrafts and innovation, vintage warbirds, attack helicopters, combat aircrafts, and so much more.
You will be able to witness the most spectacular routines as jet fighters take to the skies, while attack helicopters put on a riveting display of simulated combat maneuvers.
Take a journey back through the years with a huge collection of historical aircrafts, including a selection of World War II assets. Then turn your eyes to the future, with the very best in innovation and new technology, including delving into the latest in space exploration.
