Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix is nearly here

The Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix returns to Phillip Island from 26-28 October

The Michelin^® Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix will be back at Phillip Island this October, running from Friday 26 October to Sunday 28 October. This year’s event promises to be better than ever, with the world’s best on two-wheels battling it out right in our very own backyard.

There has been plenty happening behind the scenes to ensure the 2018 Moto GP is the best one yet, with new weather protected and covered areas, new grandstands and upgrades to the campgrounds just part of the improvements.

Undercover improvements and Grandstands

There will be six new covered and weather-protected areas at this year’s race, positioned at turns 1 and 8 near the Bass Straight and Lukey Heights Grandstands, as well in the Highside and Marshals’ campgrounds. There will also now be undercover seating available in the Gardner Premium Grandstand, with prime position overlooking the start/finish line.

Camping

Those wishing to camp during their stay now have the option of pre-pitched tents in the Highside family friendly campground, with single, twin, triple or quad tents available to be set up and ready for you as you arrive. Overall, the campgrounds will be upgraded with more amenities, showers and improved ground-protection. The campgrounds will also be lit up with live music across all four nights from Thursday to Sunday.
