F1® Australian Grand Prix is ready to roll
General Admission tickets are now available for the 2020 event.
The Rolex Australian Grand Prix will, once again, kickstart the Formula 1® calendar in fine form.
Running from Thursday 12 March through to Sunday 15 March, the event returns to Albert Park in Melbourne.
General Admission tickets are available for the four-day festival, with the AusGP Park Pass starting at just $30.54*.
2020 will mark the 25th year the Grand Prix has been held in Melbourne, with the season opener one of the biggest events on Australia’s world-renowned sporting calendar.
As always, the off-track schedule at the event gets bigger and better every year, turning into one of the country’s best festival atmospheres. With fan zones, the Melbourne Walk, M-Lane, Heineken Village, Kids’ Corner, massive headline music acts and more – the event caters for everyone.
Of course, the on-track schedule is also one of the largest programs of any Formula 1® event.
Kids under 14 also go free, provided they are with an accompanying adult ticket.
Following a much-hyped 2019 race for local hero Daniel Ricciardo in new colours at Renault, he will be looking for redemption in 2020, after being forced to retire early back in March. Perth-born Ricciardo’s 2019 in its entirety has been underwhelming, with his DNF in Melbourne a sign of things to come for the season.
But, the Australian Grand Prix is the start of a new season, and the perfect platform for Ricciardo to set up a promising 2020 calendar year.
While his Renault contract renewal may be up in the air, one thing that’s clear is the 30-year-old is chasing a podium finish in 2020, which will further excite Aussie fans.
