One football season ends, and another begins – the 2019/20 Hyundai A-League season is on its way.
Tickets are now on sale to see the AUS-X Open at Marvel Stadium on Saturday 30 November this year.
The International Supercross event will see Marvel Stadium completely transformed, as the world’s best Supercross riders go head-to-head on a world championship-sized track.
The event doubles as the 2019 Australian Supercross Championship Grand Final Round, in a huge coup for Melbourne’s already world-renowned sporting landscape. After launching in Sydney in 2015, this will be the first time the event will be held in Melbourne.
On top of elite and world-class Supercross, the Monster Energy AUS-X Open will also see freestyle motocross performing crazy stunts, live music, insane pyrotechnics, and crazy entertainment.
Marvel Stadium will be shipping in 6,000 tonnes of dirt in one of the most ridiculous engineering feats in Aussie sporting history. Supports will need to be imported and constructed in the underground carpark to support the weight and pressure as the dirt piles onto the Stadium turf.
It will be the biggest off-road motorcycle and action sports event in Australian history (and the world outside the USA), as our nation’s largest indoor stadium is completely transformed. Once set up is over, it will be well and truly unrecognisable.
Monster Energy AUS-X Open lands at Marvel Stadium, Melbourne on Saturday 30 November. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com.au.
