AFL‘s ANZAC Day Round kicks off this weekend, with the round dedicated to Australia and New Zealand’s day of remembrance, commemorating those who served our nations.

The annual round will culminate in the traditional clash between Collingwood and Essendon on ANZAC Day (Wednesday 25 April).

As we head into round 5 of the home and away season already, the Giants are sitting pretty on the top of the ladder by percentage with three wins. They are joined on three wins by West Coast, Richmond, Hawthorn, Port Adelaide and Sydney, with North Melbourne and Geelong rounding out the top 8.

Meanwhile, St Kilda have a tough task ahead of them as they host the Giants at Etihad Stadium on Saturday 21 April, with the first bounce at 1:45pm.

The Saints have gotten off to a rocky start in 2018 and will be looking to get back on track after three straight losses.

Fremantle will return to their new home at Optus Stadium on Saturday evening, as they take on the Western Bulldogs who have found some form despite a narrow 7-point loss to the Swans last weekend. A fantastic win over Essendon two weeks ago, followed by a spirited performance against Sydney, ensures this is shaping up to be an entertaining clash in Perth.

Sunday 22 April will see the first Q Clash of the home and away season as the Brisbane Lions host Gold Coast at The Gabba. Brisbane will be searching for their first win of the season, whilst the Suns will want to bounce back hard after two losses at Optus Stadium in two weeks, despite a ripping start to the season.

The Verandah will be launched at The Gabba for the first time this season, offering fans premium front-row deck chair seating, with a fully stocked bar right in the forward pocket. There are no better seats in the house! Read more about The Verandah here.

North Melbourne will also take on Hawthorn on Sunday afternoon, with both sides starting the season in strong form with two and three wins respectively. Each side will be coming off a strong showing last round and will be eager to keep their good form going and maintain a spot inside the top 8.
