The 2018 Rolex® Formula Grand Prix has finally arrived in Melbourne, running from Thursday 22 March until the big day on Sunday 25 March.

Can Ricciardo do it on his home track, and take out the Australian Grand Prix for the first time? Or will favourite Lewis Hamilton, last years Formula One World Driver’s Champion, cross the line first? Who is your pick to stand on top of the podium this year?

Whoever you’re cheering on, there will be plenty happening at Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit across the four days. Let’s have a look at what is going on…

Check the track schedule

You can head here to see the track schedule and all that is happening on the track across each of the four days, including qualifying and practice sessions. The big race will begin at 4:10pm on the Sunday, with the driver’s parade at 2:40pm.

Across the entire four days, there is constantly something going on on the track, as well as heaps of entertainment throughout the circuit, with plenty for all ages.

Visit the F1 Fan Zone and meet the drivers

The F1® Fan Zone is one pit stop you will want to take, with the chance to meet and greet the F1® drivers and legends of the sport. There will be plenty of merchandise available to purchase and have signed by your heroes. Check out all the autograph signing times here.

The Melbourne walk will happen each day, as the F1® drivers walk to the Formula 1 paddock once they arrive each morning. You will even get another chance to grab a photo or autograph with the drivers! The walk will start at 10am Thursday, 9am Friday, 10:15am Saturday and 10am on Sunday.

Food, drink and live music in the M-Lane

If you are looking for something a little more social, the M-Lane will house everything food, drink, art and music. With plenty of food trucks on offer, as well as some pretty cool street art and pumping live music, this is one spot you’ll need to check out.

The Heineken® Village will take pride of place in the M-Lane, and you can check out everything happening here.

RnB Friday presented by Fox FM returns, headlined by big-name artists such as Jay Sean and Fatman Scoop. Have a look at the live music schedule here, so you can plan your visit.

Your behind-the-scenes Supercars experience

If you want to get involved in the Supercars whilst you’re there, check out the Coates Hire Supercars Central. There will be plenty of chances for autographs and photos as well.

Or if you’re after a little more action, head to the Legends lane, with plenty of activations to get involved in, such as a race car simulator, the parkour jump squad, a reaction tester, as well as more photo opportunities.

You can also check out the leading showcase of new automotive releases in Australasia, with 14 manufacturers displaying premium motorsport offerings (and six cars presented to the Australian public for the first time!).

There is even the opportunity to jump in the Jaguar F-TYPE Supersprint as a passenger, and the Jaguar’s Art of Performance Tour.
See everything that is happening at the Grand Prix Motor Show right here.

Fun for little family members

F1® hasn’t forgetten the kids! All children 14 and under can enter the Grand Prix for free, and you can take them to the Kids’ Corner, with plenty to keep them entertained for hours. There is the kids’ sporting zone, a Porsche kids driving school, the Disney and Marvel action zone and much more.

Limited grandstand tickets are available ahead of the weekend, along with general admission tickets, from Ticketmaster.com.au.
