Round 17

Round 17 AFL action begins on Friday night (13 July) with St Kilda v Carlton at 7:50pm. Whilst both sides have been much maligned for their performances this season, both will surely be keen to perform on the big stage that is Friday night footy.

Continuing the Round 17 action sees an absolute blockbuster on Sunday (15 July) as North Melbourne take on the Sydney Swans at 3:20pm. With North sitting in ninth, one spot out of the eight, and Sydney in fifth, one spot outside the top four, both sides will be fired up with plenty to play for. It promises to be a terrific, nail-biting game of footy that could really come down to the wire.

Round 18

Round 18 sees the Saints in Friday night (20 July) footy again, this time taking on top of the ladder and reigning Premiers Richmond at 7:50pm. The Tigers are tipped by many to go back to back and are in scintillating form, so to see them on the fast Etihad Stadium deck is an enticing proposition.

The footy continues the following day (21 July) as Essendon take on Fremantle at 4:35pm. This one could certainly be a shootout, and with slim finals hopes left for both sides, promises to be a much tighter affair than the odds suggest.

On the Sunday (22 July), Carlton will be back at Etihad, this time as a home game as they take on Hawthorn at 1:10pm. The Hawks are now just inside the eight and will be looking to maintain their position with a strong showing against a depleted Blues.

Round 19

Closing out the July Etihad Stadium action sees one game in Round 19 as Friday night (27 July) footy presents Essendon up against Sydney at 7:50pm. Any game involving the Swans promises to be entertaining, and with a fast-moving Essendon side up and about, this game could turn out to be a ripper.

So, make sure you head on down to Etihad Stadium to support your side this month, with discounts and donuts on offer!
