Listening to The Beverly Chills is a lot like crowd surfing for the first time. It’s manic, unforgiving and a little unnerving, but once it’s over, you can’t wait to do it all again.

The LA / Melbourne duo (Twiggy Hunter and Nick Piss) comprise a sound that’s every bit as gnarly punk as it is lo-fi garage rock, having caught the attention of rock and metal critics on both sides of the Pacific.

What they lack in a real life drummer, The Beverly Chills make up for in energetic synths and pulsating riffs.

So if you like your punk to be fierce, fiery and unafraid, then you don’t want to sleep on this two-piece.
