Marian Hill are heading down under this August, having just confirmed dates for their debut Australian headline tour.

Fresh from wowing music lovers at Coachella, the Philadelphia duo will play two very special shows in Sydney and Melbourne later this winter.

The Platinum-certified pair will play Sydney’s Manning Bar on 22 August and Melbourne’s Corner Hotel on 23 August.

Marian Hill – Jeremy Lloyd (music/lyrics/production) and Samantha Gongol (music/lyrics/vocals) – have been collaborating since school, having persistently pushed the boundaries of expectations and experimented consistently with their sound.

Samantha Gongol says, “People often think Marian Hill is the name of a woman, but we are two songwriters who made a name for ourselves by making minimal, strong, sexy, confident music.”

Marian Hill - Differently

They unleashed their debut full-length, Act One, in 2016, which took listeners on an irresistible journey through the bb and flow of modern relationships. The record includes tracks like Down, which was featured on Apple’s 207 AirPods commercial.

Sophomore album, Unusual, has proved equally powerful; released earlier this month, the new record is the driving force behind the outfit’s upcoming Australian tour.

Sydney’s breakout artist and songwriter CXLOE will join Marian Hill in both Sydney and Melbourne.
