Following the release of their self-titled album, and in the lead-up to their exciting April tour, Brisbane band Cub Sport have shared with us some of their favourite behind the scenes moments from their recent American run.

Verse three of our song ‘Come On Mess Me Up’ has a lyric “I was stumbling on Suffolk throwing up real hard,” which is about this street on the lower east side of Manhattan. I always love going back and visiting this street.

We stopped in at New Orleans on our drive from Houston to Atlanta and it was such a great vibe! We found vegan gluten free gumbo which was delicious.

Our show in Washington DC was in a dimly lit basement with festoon lighting, it was such a vibe. (📸 by Emily Reider)

We drove from Toronto to Boston on my birthday and visited the Niagara Falls – it was amazing.

We had a day off in Oklahoma City and it was so lovely. We chilled at the park and rode scooters to the Womb Gallery.

Our LA show. It sold out in advance and the energy in the room was HUGE. Definitely one of our fave shows. (📸 by @espay___)

Cub Sport will perform twice at The Tivoli, Brisbane on Saturday 6 April and Festival Hall, Melbourne on Saturday 13 April. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.com.au.
