Bananarama are heading our way in a couple of weeks and we can't wait to see why they're still a force to be reckoned with.

If you ever found yourself in the ’80s with a hairbrush singing in the mirror, good chance it will be to a Bananarama hit. So there’s good reason why we’re super excited to welcome the legendary pop duo back to Australian shores.

The ladies from Bananarama are certainly a force to be reckoned with. Between 1982 and 2009, they scored a staggering 28 top 50 singles on the UK chart. With a unqiue look, heaps of sass, and non-stop fun, it’s no wonder the group became instantly iconic.

Responsible for heaps of hits, including the bop that is Shy Boy, their debut album soaredThis track has certainly stood the test of time with a video we just love.

Another one of our faves is Cruel Summer. The fashion inspo in this video is too much. Get us some dungarees and cool hats ASAP.

We think it’s pretty safe to say that on the top of everyone’s favourites is the crazy iconic Venus. This song will make any woman feel empowered whatever the time of day and we are here for it.

In short, it looks like the upcoming Bananarama tour will be heaps of fun. Full of hits, fab fashion, and most importantly an abundance of talent and experience from  Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward. We can’t wait to warm up our vocal chords to belt out all the tunes at this one.

As if the tour didn’t have enough ’80s hits ready to go, special guest Tiffany will be joining the tour. Responsible for ’80s bangers such as I Think We’re Alone Now and Could’ve Been, the tour just keeps getting better and better.

Rounding off this epic lineup is German diva Amber. Ready to fill the dancefloor to start off the night.
