We're in a Motown kind of mood ahead of Summer Series next month.

What better way to enjoy a summer’s evening than listening to Motown’s biggest stars? Are we right?

The Jacksons are leading the charge of next month’s Summer Series and we are dusting off our dancing shoes well in advance. Join us as we take a trip down memory lane and look at The Jackson’s biggest moments through the decades.

The 1960s

This is where it all began for The Jackson 5 in 1969. To have this be your first single and still one of the most iconic tracks is quite an achievement.

The 1970s

Now, there was no way we were going to pick just one track from the ’70s as there’s no doubt this is when The Jacksons were in their prime.

We’ll start off with this track as, after all, it is nearly Christmas. Releasing a Christmas album a year after they burst onto the scene, The Jackson 5 certainly established themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

Also released in the 1970s was the iconic I’ll Be There. We’re sure loads of mums and dads out there will have slow danced to this at their school formal back in the day.

The final track from the ’70s is, of course, Blame It On The Boogie. We defy you to go to a wedding where this song isn’t played. Try it.

The 1980s

The ’80s gave us this iconic track from The Jacksons and for that, we are forever grateful.

The 1990s – onwards

There’s so much to be said about The Jacksons and their incredible journey and career. We’re going to leave you with a couple of our favourite videos of reunion performances to get you in the mood for next month. Enjoy.
