Thundamentals stripped back: ‘Everybody But You’
This is Thundamentals like you haven’t seen them before.
As they get ready to hit the road in celebration of their fifth studio album, I Love Songs, Thundamentals have decided to strip things back – presenting us with a gorgeous, acoustic version of their latest single Everybody But You.
Shot and directed by Luke Eblen, with Steadycam by Adam Scarf, and featuring guitar by Carl Dimataga and extra vocals from Billie McCarthy and Ines Vaz de Sousa, the video showcases just how versatile Thundamentals are as musicians and songwriters.
Their upcoming run of shows will also be extra special, not only because this year marks ten years since Thundamentals got together, but also because this will be the first time the trio have ever taken a live band out on the road.
So expect to see more surprises.
These are nights you’re going to want to get down early for, because the support slots are filled to the brim with exciting talent. Ziggy Ramo and Jesswar will be heading around the country, while Joyride will be along for the Brisbane date, and Billy Davis and The Good Lords will be holding things down in Melbourne.
Thundamentals will take over The Forum, Melbourne on Saturday November 10 and The Tivoli, Brisbane on Friday November 23. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.au.
