Suzi Quatro headlines second Red Hot Summer Tour 2019

Get excited, the American rock icon tops the festival's second lineup for this summer.

The Red Hot Summer Tour‘s second 2019 lineup is in, with Suzi Quatro leading proceedings.

Jimmy Barnes and Joan Jett were among the legends included in the festival’s first announcement last month, and today’s follow-up is just as hot.

Suzi Quatro will be joined by The Angels, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets, Jon Stevens, Moving Pictures and Chocolate Starfish.

In a recent statement, promoter Duane McDonald, who created The Red Hot Summer Tour nine years ago, said, “Our ethos starting out was to take the type of artists you would see performing at festivals in metro centres, and bring them to the regions.

“Music fans are everywhere, and just because they don’t live in a capital city doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have access to some of the best live acts. We are so proud to have grown the festival to encompass dozens of shows – across three different series annually – with bills that include some of the world’s most iconic artists. We are excited about 2019 and Series One is going to rock the socks off of music fans!”
