Sterephonics announce new Australian tour dates

Cymru legends head out in support of their latest album, Scream Above The Sounds.

Rock luminaries Sterephonics will make a much welcomed return down under this April, having just announced a new set of Australian shows.

Marking their first Oz tour since 2013, the Cymru legends will be heading out in support of their latest album, Scream Above The Sounds.

Not ones to do any tour by halves, they’ll be getting things underway at the Sydney Opera House on 26 April, before bringing their show to Brisbane’s Tivoli on 28 April, Melbourne’s Forum on 30 April and HQ in Adelaide on 3 May, before wrapping up the tour in the west with one night at Fremantle Arts Centre on 5 May.

With Kelly Jones at the helm, Stereophonics are renowned for delivering consistently superb, dynamic live shows, and their upcoming Australian tour is set to be no exception.

The band – completed by Richard Jones (bass), Adam Zindani (guitar) and Jamie Morrison (drums) – will also be joined by long-term associate, keyboardist Tony Kirkham on the April/May tour.

As well as playing tracks from Scream Above The Sound live for the first time, their headline set is expected to includes all-time favourites like Maybe Tomorrow, Superman, The Bartender and the Thief, Mr Writer, Local Boy In The Photograph, Dakota and Have A Nice Day.
