The ’90s are back with Spring Loaded 2019

Remember the days when Big Day Out and Homebake were annual festivities, when Australian music was ruled by much-loved rock bands? Well, for one day this June, Spring Loaded 2019 is bringing it all back.

Spring Loaded is coming to Queensland with a jam-packed lineup that is ready to quench the nostalgia for the good old days and honour the music that soundtracked our lives throughout the ’90s,

Leading the way are national treasures Spiderbait. With seven acclaimed albums spread across three decades – as well as a stack of ARIA nominations, gold/platinum/double platinum sales, a number one single for 2004’s Black Betty, and a triple j Hottest 100 #1 for 1996’s Buy Me A Pony – Spiderbait have well and truly become a staple in the Australian music scene.

They’ll be joined by Something For Kate (who in the last two decades have released five top ten albums), Jebediah, Mark Seymour and the Undertow, Custard, Frenzal Rhomb, Tumbleweed, and Screamfeeder.

Together, their catalogues soundtracked a generation of music fans – from days spent under the sun at Big Day Out, to filling the background of long drives with your best mates. And Spring Loaded is bringing it all back.
