Not everyone can make the trip to Splendour in the Grass, but luckily we have all the sideshow good news to help kill any FOMO you might be feeling.

Catfish and the Bottlemen – tickets

Catfish and the Bottlemen - Longshot

Following their visit over New Year’s for Falls Festival, our favourite Welsh rockers Catfish and the Bottlemen will return to Australian stages alongside their Splendour In The Grass visit. The tour comes off the back of their forthcoming album The Balance, which is due for release on Friday 26 April – giving us all ample time to get the words memorised and the singalongs well and truly rehearsed. The tour will see the band play some of their biggest Australian headline shows yet, and we can’t wait to see how the new tracks blend with their older catalogue.

Catfish and the Bottlemen will take over HBF Stadium, Perth on Sunday 28 July.

The Streets – tickets

The Streets - Fit But You Know It (Official Video)

After retiring The Streets in 2011, it’s damn good to have the golden voice of Mike Skinner back – and we’re feeling even better about their 2018 revival now that we know they’re coming to Australia. As well as their Splendour visit, The Streets will head down to Melbourne, bringing tracks from their six-album back catalogue along for the ride – fingers crossed we also get some treats from their 2020-slated new album. They spent most of 2018 shaking off the cobwebs with sold out shows across the UK and Europe, so you can bet Skinner and co will be in good stead when they return Down Under. As an added bonus, absolute legends The Avalanches are locked in for a special DJ set – what a treat.

The Streets will perform at Festival Hall, Melbourne on Thursday 18 July.

Tycho – tickets

Tycho - Waypoint (2018 Burning Man Sunrise Set) + Visuals [HD]

Over the last 15 years, American songwriter, composer, and producer Scott Hansen has wrapped up fans around the world in his swirling, triumphant melodies, and now he is set to once again bring his project Tycho to Australian stages. Alongside what is sure to be a gorgeous Splendour in the Grass Sunday set, he’ll also bring the magic to Melbourne’s Forum Theatre for what is sure to be a beautifully, intimate affair. Across his career, Hansen has developed from a delicate solo performer to the powerfully iconic frontman we have come to love, and we can’t wait to have Tycho back on Australian soil.

Tycho will transform The Forum, Melbourne on Tuesday 23 July.

Maribou State – tickets

Maribou State - 'Kingdom (feat. North Downs)' [Official Video]

London-based duo Maribou State have built a well-earned reputation as one of the most daring and innovative acts in dance music today, and now they’re ready to bring their tunes to Melbourne alongside what is sure to be a huge set at Splendour. It was their 2015 debut album Portraits that propelled the pair to international acclaim – receiving nods from the likes of Annie Mac and Zane Lowe and taking over stages at Glastonbury and Bestival in the process. They continued the goodies with last year’s Kingdoms In Colour and we cannot wait to party together.

Maribou State will take over The Forum, Melbourne on Thursday 18 July.

James Blake – tickets

James Blake - Barefoot In The Park feat. Rosalía (Official Video)

With four critically-acclaimed albums under his belt – alongside a swag of awards nominations and big wins (hello Mercury Prize) – James Blake, and his honey-smooth vocals have graced some of the most prestigious stages, rooms, and festivals around the world. We are pretty stoked with the news that he’ll be returning to Australia as part of this year’s Splendour In The Grass, and even more so with the news that he’ll be throwing in some more intimate sideshows along the way. Melbourne’s Forum is in his sights, and a night with James Blake is in ours.

James Blake will take over The Forum, Melbourne on Friday 19 July.
