Snow Patrol choose Ticketmaster Verified Fan® to power their one-off special show at Palais Theatre
Snow Patrol are returning to Australia this winter, having just announced a very special, one-off show at Melbourne’s iconic Palais Theatre on Thursday 2 August.
Snow Patrol care about their fans and understand there are going to be more people who want to see them perform at the Palais Theatre than there will be available tickets. The band are committed to getting tickets into the hands of Aussie fans – not scalpers or bots – so they’re collaborating with Ticketmaster Verified Fan® for the Presale.
Snow Patrol’s Presale powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan® will take place at 2pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 23 May.

1. Register snowpatrolau.ontouraccess.com for Snow Patrol’s Presale powered by Verified FanR. Registration is now open, and closes at 10pm (AEST) on Sunday 20 May.
2. Once verified, you’ll receive a one-time use access code via text message to unlock access to tickets.
3. Find and purchase tickets without racing against scalpers and bots.

HOW DOES TICKETMASTER VERIFIED FAN® WORK
Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan® utilises a unique fan-first technology to help identify fans who truly want to attend the show and restrict ticket access to scalpers and bots. Fans now have a better opportunity to access tickets for artists they love.
Fans who are successfully verified will be notified via email by 8am on Wednesday 23 May.
If verified, you will receive your one-time use access code approximately two to four hours before the Presale at 2pm (AEDT) on Wednesday 23 May.
We also suggest keeping an eye on your email in case there are any disruptions with text delivery.
Presale tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. An access code does not guarantee tickets.
To allow for as many fans as possible to see Snow Patrol at Palais Theatre, codes are valid for one-time use and purchasers are held to a limit of four (4) tickets maximum.
If you miss out on tickets in the presale, there will be limited tickets available in the general public onsale on Friday 25 May. Codes will not be required for this.
It’s been seven years since we had new music from Snow Patrol, and 15 years since they broke onto the mainstream with 2003’s Final Straw.
No stranger to smash-hit singles, Snow Patrol are responsible for unforgettable tracks like Open Your Eyes and Run, having garnered huge critical and commercial acclaim throughout their career.
Snow Patrol’s seventh studio album, Wildness, promises much the same, with the band having already unleashed Empress, What If This Is All The Love You Ever Get? and Life On Earth. Wildness is set to drop on the same day as tickets for their Melbourne show (2 August).
Of the new record, lead singer and songwriter Gary Lightbody said, “There are many types of wildness, but I think it can be distilled into two: the wildness of the modern age, all its confusion, illogic and alienation and a more ancient wildness. Something primal, alive and beautiful that speaks to our true connectivity, our passion, our love, our communion with nature and each other. This is the kind of wildness the album is centered around. The loss of it. Trying to reconnect with it. To remember it.”
