It’s been a little while, but The Smith Street Band are finally embarking on their own headline tour in early 2019.

After spending the last few months building their own fully off-grid recording studio in regional Victoria, The Smith Street Band have promised that new music is on its way.

To be fair, The Smithies probably deserved a break. After releasing their fourth album, More Scared Of You Than You Are Of Me in 2017, the band spent the year touring relentlessly – headlining their biggest tours so far in Australia, Europe, and North America. This year they launched their own festival titled Pool House Party before kicking into a 35-date Australian run of shows.

We’re exhausted just typing that all out.

These shows will be extra sweet. Not only because we’ll get to hear the first taste of album number 5, but also because support comes from The Beths and Sweater Curse – two bands we’re certain you should keep an eye on.
