His impact on popular music across the last four decades is undisputed, and now Roxy Music legend Bryan Ferry is returning to Australian shores for the first time since 2011. While here he’ll play a trio of special a day on the green performances.

Set in the gorgeous surrounds of Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden as well as Victoria’s Rochford Wines and Queensland’s Sirromet Wines, these are going to be performances like no other.

Roxy Music had a significant impact on early English punk and new wave music, and in 2004 Rolling Stone ranked the band on its list of the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

Roxy Music - More Than This

As well as releasing a slew of classic albums with Roxy Music – including Avalon which held the number one spot on the Australian charts for three weeks in 1982 – Bryan has also received acclaim in his solo career through albums like 1976’s Let’s Stick Together.

His most recent album, 2014’s Avonmore, marked Bryan’s 15th release and saw him working with Nile Rodgers and The Smiths’ Johnny Marr.

Bryan’s setlist promises to include material from his whole career, including Roxy Music classics like Love Is The Drug, Avalon, More Than This, Virginia Plain and Jealous Guy, as well as much-loved solo hits like Let’s Stick Together, Slave To Love and Don’t Stop The Dance.

Adding to the treat, he’ll be joined by Ron S. Peno-led ’80s alt-rockers Died Pretty and Aria Hall of Famers Models, as well as Melbourne funk/pop band I’m Talking – a reunion that’s been 30 years in the making.
