Portugal. The Man lock in Australian shows for May

With one of the catchiest songs of 2017 under their belt, Portugal. The Man are brining a series of headline shows to Australia in May.

The band haven’t toured Australia since 2014 and with Feel It Still being a TM HQ favourite at the moment, we were thrilled with the news.

We dare you to listen to that song without bopping a little because it’s literally impossible. Seriously. Their latest single Live In The Moment promises to do the same, having already racked up 7 million views on YouTube.

Portugal. The Man’s biggest hit of last year isn’t all the band have to offer, with eight albums in their back catalogue giving them a lot to share with newer fans, and plenty of old favourites for their current fans too. With a decade of touring behind them, to say the seven-piece know what they’re doing is an understatement.

After taking a good four years in between albums, it is apparent that it was worth the wait. Critics have called their latest album, Woodstock their most socially conscious yet, and by looking at the response from fans, it’s certainly paid off.

The psychedelic group are heading our way this May and we’ll have tickets for the shows in Melbourne (Forum on Thursday 3 May) and Brisbane (The Tivoli on Thursday 10 May).
