Just inject the nostalgia straight into our veins.
Melbourne fans, get ready, because OneRepublic are touching down for one very special night in your fine city.
While they’re here to headline this year’s NRL Grand Final, the American hitmakers have announced they’ll head to Melbourne to play a very special, one-off, intimate concert in Melbourne.
Upon releasing their debut album Dreaming Out Loud in 2007, OneRepublic shot to the forefront of the international pop scene. And thanks to smash-hits like ‘Apologize’ and ‘Counting Stars’, they have remained there ever since.
With four stellar full-lengths under their belts – including 2013’s certified-Platinum seller Native and their most recent release, 2016’s Oh My My – expect to hear a set full of OneRepublic’s biggest hits.
Since Oh My My, OneRepublic have dropped a handful of stellar singles including the recently released ‘Rescue Me’ and latest tune ‘Wanted’ both hinting at what’s to come from OneRepublic. Will we hear some more new tunes when they arrive in Melbourne? Only time will tell.
The band recently performed at Colarado’s famed Red Rocks for two sold-out shows with Colorado Symphony, and if reviews are anything to go by, the band are in fine form,
Last time they arrived in Australia back in 2016, OneRepublic only performed a one-off secret show in Sydney, making their Melbourne return – their first visit here since 2013 by the way – extra exciting.
OneRepublic will perform at Melbourne’s The Forum on Tuesday 8 October. Tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.
