Now in its seventh year, One Electric Day is getting bigger – taking the tour around Australia and bringing certified legend John Farnham along with them.
Melbourne’s iconic One Electric Day festival is set to take the show national – and the only man for the job is The Voice himself, John Farnham.
Special guests across the tour include James Reyne, Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, The Black Sorrows, as well as a special reformation by Southern Sons – making every One Electric Day show an unmissable all-Aussie rock event.
Since launching in Melbourne in 2013, One Electric Day has grown to become one of the most highly-anticipated events on the Victorian calendar. Attracting a dedicated 10,000-plus crowd each year, there was no doubt that the rest of Australia deserved a slice of the action.
There are many careers in Australian music history as esteemed as that of John Farnham. His 1986 album Whispering Jack was the first record to sell over a million copies in Australia, and its chart-topping single ‘You’re The Voice’ cemented Farnham’s place in the history books and the hearts of music fans for generations to come.
He’ll be drawing on the phenomenal songbook from his stellar four-decade-long career. With hits like You’re The Voice, Two Strong Hearts, Pressure Down, and A Touch Of Paradise how could we not be excited?
Throw in support from some of this country’s most storied and celebrated musicians, and our weekends in November and December are more than set.
One Electric Day 2019 will take place this November and December. Tickets on sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.
