Midnight Oil release details of second Melbourne date
Midnight Oil have just released details of a second Melbourne date at Sidney Myer Music Bowl as part of The Great Circle 2017 world tour.
The news follows extraordinary demand for the first Sidney Myer show, we sold out in unprecedented time earlier this week.
The Jezabels and Adalita will join Midnight Oil at the second date on Wednesday 8 November.
Here are the important dates you need to know to get tickets:
Monday 6 March – 1pm AEDT – fan presale
24 hour presale for Midnight Oil fans who have signed up to the band’s newsletter (or ends earlier if presale allocation is exhausted).
The presale password will be sent out to the mailing list at 5pm AEDT Sunday 5 March. Sign-up at Midnightoil.com/mailing-list.
Monday 6 March – 1pm AEDT – Frontier Touring presale
A second presale will be available to fans who’ve signed up for an account with promoters, Frontier Touring.
Members will receive a unique ID which will need to be entered on the Ticketmaster event page here.
Wednesday 8 March – 1pm AEDT – general sale via Ticketmaster.com.au.

Midnight Oil have also made a date change for Wollongong:
‘To allow for the additional Melbourne show Midnight Oil’s performance at Wollongong’s WIN Entertainment Centre (originally scheduled to take place on Wed 8 Nov) will now take place on Mon 13 Nov at WIN Entertainment Centre. Midnight Oil and Frontier Touring appreciate the understanding of Midnight Oil fans on the necessity of the date change. Ticketholders who are able to attend the rescheduled show date need take no further action; their existing ticket will be valid for the new date and their location within the venue remains unchanged.
‘Ticketholders who can no longer attend the rescheduled Wollongong date are asked to seek a full refund by 5pm AEDT Friday 31 March 2017 via the show’s official ticketing agency, Ticketmaster – Ticketmaster.com.au or phone 136 100.’
