Hawaiian shirts ready! Me First And The Gimme Gimmes have some stellar news for fans down under, having just announced a fresh batch of live dates for 2017.

The punk rock supergroup, who’ve developed quite the penchant for sequin jackets and next level covers sets, will return to Australia in October for shows in Melbourne, Brisbane, Newcastle, Perth and Adelaide.

Aussie fans will also be treated to a new formation of the legendary outfit, with The Living End frontman Chris Cheney and Bad Religion bassist Jay Bentley replacing founding members Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters, ex-No Use For A Name) and Fat Mike (NOFX) respectively for the Oz tour.

Cheney and Bentley will join the recklessly brilliant bunch that is Spike Slawson (Uke-Hunt, Re-Volts, ex-Swingin’ Utters), alongside Lagwagon’s Joey Cape and Dave Raun.

The five-piece took to Facebook to confirm the new tour dates – watch below.

Tickets for Me First And The Gimme Gimmes’ October tour go on general sale 9am (local time) on Friday 26 May.
