Mastodon announce Download Festival sideshows
Plus, the US metallers confirm support from fellow Download-ers, Gojira.
Fancy an extra dose of Mastodon when they arrive down under this autumn?
The US heavy metal titans have announced two sideshows in addition to their appearance at Download Festival Melbourne on Saturday 24 March 2018.
The mighty Mastodon have also confirmed support from French four-piece and fellow Download act Gojira, who will join them at sideshows in Sydney and Brisbane.
Catch Mastodon and Gojira after Download at Sydney’s Big Top, Luna Park on 26 March and Brisbane’s Eatons Hill Hotel on 28 March.

This will be Mastodon’s first Aussie tour since 2015, having since released new album, Emperor Of Sand.
Soundwave Festival in 2014 was the last time we saw Gojira on our shores, so we’re stoked to see them back on Aussie stages.
Mastodon join a number of Download acts who’ve plotted epic sideshows across Australia around the festival.
Rock and metal fans can catch Prophets of Rage, Limp Bizkit, Good Charlotte, Amon Amarth, NOFX, and Nails playing headline shows up and down the country.
