Machine Gun Kelly has just confirmed details of a full Australian tour this May.

The American rapper, real name Colson Baker, will play headline shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth this autumn. And we can. not. wait.

Cleveland-raised MGK became instantly popular off the release of his early mixtapes in 2009, before really rising to the forefront of hip hop in 2011 when his SXSW set was spotted by Sean Combs.

From there, Kelly signed to Comb’s Bad Boy label and released track Wild Boy the same year.

Talking about his signing, Sean “Diddy” Combs said previously, “MGK is one of the most versatile creators around and it is an honour to watch, and be part of, his evolution as an artist. His story is like no other, his sound is so raw and intense, and his new album proves MGK is on top of his game right now.”

This May will see MGK tour Australia for the first time since 2013, delivering tracks from his latest album, bloom.

We’ll have tickets for Machine Gun Kelly in Brisbane (The Tivoli on Thursday 3 May) and Melbourne (Forum on Saturday 5 May).
