It isn’t hard to see why Legends In Concert is Las Vegas’ longest-running show, and with a triumphant return to Melbourne’s Palms at Crown we’re certain it’s going to be around for a lot longer.

Paying tribute to some of the biggest acts in musical history, there isn’t a single artist that misses a beat. Every Legends In Concert star brings something fresh and brilliant to their performance, charming fans with some of their favourite songs in such spectacular fashion that it’s hard to believe it isn’t the real thing.

Opener Donna Summer – sparkling in a gold metallic leotard – opens the night, and from Hot Stuff to Bad Girls she is on fire. From disco queen to country star as Kenny Rogers lights up the stage. You’ll notice, not a single detail is spared – from dance moves to costuming, it really is a trip through musical history. Cyndi Lauper is as kooky as ever, Rod Stewart has all the spunk and attitude of the British rockstar, and Stevie Wonder is glorious.

It’d be hard for the night to get any better from here, but then Michael Jackson comes out and takes us all back to his Thriller era, we’re reminded why Tina Turner is the ultimate queen, and finally, we’re transported back to the glory of Elvis Presley’s Las Vegas show days.

Alongside each performer is a host of incredibly talented back-up dancers adding extra excitement to every performance, and a silky-smooth, effortlessly tight band holding everything together.

We were lucky enough to chat with Kevin Mills who performs as Elvis Presley and Damian Brantley who pays tribute to Michael Jackson as they prepared for one of their Melbourne shows.
