It’s the news Foo Fighters fans in Australia have been waiting for, as the American rockers confirm a brand new stadium tour for 2018.

The Foos will be heading down under in January 2018 in support of their ninth studio album, Concrete and Gold (dropping on 15 September), and they’re bringing some very special guests with them.

The 11-time Grammy-winning, 25+ million-record-selling stadium rockers will welcome in the new year with an epic tour that includes shows at nib Stadium in Perth (20 Jan 2018) and Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium (30 Jan 2018).

As if a Foo Fighters stadium tour wasn’t enough to thrill Aussie rock fans, Dave Grohl and co have confirmed that the mighty Weezer will be joining them on all dates.

The Rivers Cuomo-led outfit will be bringing out their eleventh full-length, Pacific Daydream, which is set for release on 27 October.

There will also be a local opening band in each city – Aussie punks Clowns will open in Melbourne and fellow noise-makers Cosmic Kahuna are on opening duty in Perth.

When you hear people say this tour is one for the record books, you better believe them.
