Festival X: Get prepped – here’s everything you need to know

Before you head to Festival X, here's all the info you need to know!

Summer festival season is coming in red hot in 2019, with Festival X lining up a slew of Aussie favourites and multiple Grammy, Billboard and ARIA Award-winning artists to kick off their inaugural event. The festival is set to storm through Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne in the coming days so you better get prepped!

Get your mobile tickets ready

Do yourself a favour and avoid the queue by ensuring you have your tickets on your phone and ready to scan before arriving at the gate. If you’re not sure how to access your mobile tickets, here’s a few handy tips:

If you’ve got a smart phone, you’ll want to download the Ticketmaster app (Apple- App Store) (Android-Google Play)

  • Log in to your Ticketmaster account > click on “My Events” > select your Festival X date > Your digital ticket will be listed in your wallet ready to go

If you’re using a web browser on your mobile phone

  • Head to Ticketmaster.com.au > log in to your Ticketmaster account > click on “My Events” > select your Festival X date > Your digital ticket will be ready to go

Forward tickets to your friends

Have you bought tickets for all your mates? Whether you’re arriving at separate times or you want to make getting in as easy and quick as possible, with our Ticket Forward option you can make sure everyone is responsible for their own tickets.

Festival X is a cashless event

Make sure you’ve got your bank card, Tap & Go/Apple Pay or similar ready to go on your phone because Festival X is a cashless event – this includes food, drink, and merchandise. Because of this there will be no ATMs on site. Ensure you’re prepared before you get on site by loading funds into your preferred account.

What to bring to Festival X

  • Your tickets (make sure you have your digital ticket loaded onto your phone or your collector ticket in hand)
  • Valid photo ID
  • Your bank card, phone for Apple pay or similar to purchase drinks, food and merch.
  • Protection from the sun (hat, sunscreen, etc) – remember to slip, slop, slap
  • Check the weather forecast, and if it looks like it’s going to rain bring a poncho or raincoat.
  • Warm clothing as it gets chilly after dark
  • Comfy, enclosed shoes.

Please note: Prohibited items you cannot bring into the festival grounds include containers or drinking vessels of any kind, alcohol, umbrellas, seats, glowsticks, thongs, and e-cigarettes .
