Summer festival season is coming in red hot in 2019, with Festival X lining up a slew of Aussie favourites and multiple Grammy, Billboard and ARIA Award-winning artists to kick off their inaugural event. The festival is set to storm through Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne this November.

Leading the way is none other than Scottish DJ, producer, and singer-songwriter Calvin Harris. The hit-making banger machine and king of collaborations has worked with the likes of Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Rag’n’Bone Man, Frank Ocean, Sam Smith, Katy Perry, and Dua Lipa, taking over charts around the world and raking in a slew of awards and accolades along the way. This November, Australian fans will get to see him behind the decks for the first time since he played Stereosonic back in 2014.

Joining him is legendary Dutch DJ Armin van Buuren. The trance powerhouse has been taking the European festival scene by storm recently, wrapping up huge sets at Ultra Europe and Tomorrowland as well as announcing he’ll be performing the longest ever main stage set at Romania’s Untold Festival – so we know he is going to be in fine form when he takes his headline spot at Festival X.

Injecting some hip hop into the lineup is rising rapper Lil Pump. Finally set to make his Australian debut following the release of his second album Harverd Dropout, Lil Pump recently performed a much-celebrated set at Coachella, teaming up with Gucci Mane and Smokepurpp to form Gucci Gang.

The rest of the Festival X lineup is just as strong, serving up some of the biggest superstars from Australia and some long-absent international heavyweights. Our fave Alison Wonderland – AKA the highest billed female DJ in Coachella history – will be along for the ride, as will California-based Aussie DJ Anna Lunoe alongside the likes of Generik, Steve Aoki, and Godlands, with a stack more artists still to be announced.
