Moving to its new home next March – settling among the steel-lined laneways and lush parklands of Wollongong’s McCabe Park – Farmer & The Owl 2019 is set to be huge.
Since 2013, Farmer & The Owl has been going down within the grounds of the University of Wollongong, but it has definitely outgrown its original home.
Curated by the incredible family of artists that call label Yours & Owls home, including Hockey Dad, Totally Unicorn, The Pinheads, TEES and Tropical Strength, we were always certain to get a huge lineup of insanely talented acts – and that’s exactly what they’ve delivered.
Leading the way is Baltimore dream-pop duo Beach House. They’ll be joined by California black metal band Deafheaven, fast-rising singer-songwriter Snail Mail, Dinosaur Jr frontman J Mascis and pop-punk act Joyce Manor.
And that’s just scratching the surface.
On the local front be treated by Stella Donnelly, Amyl & The Sniffers, Banoffee, and RVG, and so many more.
