Anthony Warlow, Lucy Durack and Jemma Rix warm up the Regent Theatre stage for Ticketmaster Groups launch.
Say hello to four fresh faces appearing in The Bodyguard the Musical, as Ticketmaster introduces the young actors who will share the role of Fletcher in the Melbourne production alongside Paulini Curuenavuli.
Taking on the exciting role will be Aston Droomer (9, Templestowe), Gabriel Ingram (10, North Carlton), Adam Punsalang (13, Geelong) and Kershawn Theodore (8, Keysborough). All pictured below with the show’s leading lady, and Australian Idol star, Paulini.
We met the the four young stars as they joined Paulini for rehearsals in Melbourne, ahead of the show’s opening at Regent Theatre on 24 August. The Melbourne opening follows an show-stopping start in Sydney, before the musical moves on to Brisbane this month.

Kershawn Theodore (8, Keysborough)
Kershawn has developed his triple threat talents at Cathy-Lea Dance Music Drama Works for the past five years, and has successfully won many awards with his troupe and as a soloist. Kershawn absolutely loves performing and has worked in television on TV series’ Offspring and Seven Signs of Ambiguity with Agency Spunkz Management. He has also been lucky to sing on Better Homes & Gardens and starred in a TV commercial. Kershawn is thrilled to be making his professional theatre debut as Fletcher in The Bodyguard. His dream is to pursue a career as a performer.
Adam Punsalang (13, Geelong)
Adam is delighted to be playing the role of Fletcher and working with this wonderful cast in The Bodyguard. Adam began his professional Musical Theatre career in 2016 playing Eric in the Melbourne and Brisbane seasons of Matilda. Other credits include Carmen for Opera Australia, Prince Siddhartha the Musical, The Voice Kids top 100, corporate events and advertising campaigns. He has been studying dance and singing since the age of ten at his parents’ school, Parallax Performing Arts Studios, and also plays the guitar and piano. He would like to thank his Mum, Dad and sister for their support and love, and hopes you enjoy the show!
Gabriel Ingram (10, North Carlton)
Gabriel is a passionate musical theatre performer who is very excited to join the cast of The Bodyguard. He is an all-rounder who has been training for the past five years at Flashdance and now Centrestage Performing Arts School. Since 2010 he has been training in singing and competing in singing eisteddfods around Victoria. In 2014, Gabriel performed in The King & I with Opera Australia/GFO and from 2016-2017 he played one of the Young Lola’s in the Melbourne season of Kinky Boots. Gabriel is grateful for all these incredible opportunities and would like to thank his parents and family, Ian White and the team at Centrestage Agency for their encouragement and support.
Aston Droomer (9, Templestowe)
Aston has been dancing at the May Downs School of Dance under the supervision of the school principal Renie Ann Martini since the age of four. His professional theatre experience includes The King and I and most recently Opera Australia’s Carmen. He has also appeared in several television commercials, most recently for K-Mart and Bonds. Aston also enjoys singing in the school choir and is learning to play the guitar. He loves to spend his spare time with his family and friends doing various indoor and outdoor activities. He also enjoys drawing and has a strong passion for car racing. Aston is proudly represented by Emma Raciti Management.
